Buxton Speedway is 3/8 mile clay banked track which races Saturday nights at 6:30 pm all summer long. The track is located just outside of Chatham, Ontario, Canada. Whether you are a long-time race fan or a first-time attendee: there’s nothing like the rush of LIVE oval-track racing this summer!
The track has a rich history opening its doors in 1971 at Raleigh Raceway Park. It operated at Raceland Speedway starting in 1979 until being renamed at South Buxton Raceway in 1982. For a brief period starting in 2019 the track was promoted at Southern Ontario Motor Speedway and had a reconfiguration to its current shape in 2020. In 2024 the track returned with a name that so many racers and fans recognize: Buxton Speedway.
The track is run by the Marche Family who took over operations during the 2024 season.
